I am a twenty-something practicing witch and Pagan seeker currently living in the Midwest somewhere between completing a master’s degree and finding gainful employment. Basically, I am still figuring it out – and by “it” I mean – Everything. My religion and spiritual practice are woven into my life and the fabric of my being. I’m an eclectic pagan and a traditional witch (and yes, that’s possible). I worship Dionysos, Aphrodite, and Hecate and work with many other spirits and deities. Other deities I have relationships with include Lilith, Circe, Pan, the Morrigan, and the Dagda. I practice traditional witchcraft and enjoy herbalism, potion making, and spirit work. Also, I have a working relationship with the fey that I have nurtured since the beginning of my practice, hence the name of the blog. Other influences in my spiritual life include Buddhism, yoga, Temple of Set, Feri, and Voodun. I grew up in a Catholic and non denomination Christian home, so undoubtedly those belief systems have influenced my being as well. I have been Pagan and practicing witchcraft for over 13 years.  In addition to practicing witchcraft and doing yoga, I enjoy knitting, cooking, and obsessing about decor and style.

This blog is a collection of thoughts, rants, and sometimes factual information about witchcraft, paganism, and how those things intersect in my life. I hope to update the blog three times a week.  In addition to writing about my personal thoughts on paganism and stuff that generally goes on in my life, I will also write about books.  There are plenty of arm-chair witches and Pagans out there, and I’ve done my share of making fun on that front, but books are a valuable resource for those of us without large communities.  I’ve spent 13 years of reading books, purchasing shite books and being annoyed, and hunting down “good” books – so I have strong opinions on New Age, Pagan, and occult books.  I’ll make a goal to review one book at least every two weeks, and try to average one book a week with reviews on Wednesdays.  If you have a book you’d like me to read, contact me or leave a comment and I’ll be more than happy to review it.
